Culinary school soars

LA VIDA NEGRENSE
The commencement exercises for the seventh batch of the Institute for Culinary Arts of the University of St. La Salle in Bacolod City was held recently.

As the first culinary school in Region 6, the institution it was founded by chef Richard Ynayan, its current director.

The seventh batch consists of 36 graduates who were inspired by the speech given by the guest of honor and speaker, Margarita “Gaita” Fores, president of food-related ventures.

Leading the graduates were Juanito Singbengco Jr. and Roselyn de los Reyes, who finished with honors.

ICA students boast of being the 2011 and 2012 champions of the yearly Adobo Festival in Silay City, Negros Occidental.
