JSY, NHOJs top TKP Class A battle

JSY Transport routed an undermanned Talisay City, 94-65, and University of St. La Salle Nhojs outlasted UNO-R Polvora’s Law Office, 94-84, at the close of the elimination round in Class A of the 12th Tan Kek Pin Memorial Basketball Cup at Bacolod Tay Tung High School Po Hang Gym.

JSY Transport and USLS are now tied with four wins and one loss to advance to the semifinals. JSY ended as the top seed by virtue of the winner over the other rule.

The  quarterfinals will be played this Friday with No. 3 Talisay City armed with a twice-to-beat advantage against No. 6 Fil-Sino Thunderbirds at 7 p.m., followed by the knockout match between No. 4 Rogers Province  of Negros Occidental and No. 5 UNO-R Polvora’s Law office.
