BAMC breaks
ground for new facility

A ground breaking ceremony was held at the west wing area of the Bacolod Adventist Medical Center for a 5-storey building, a press release said.

Some 693 square meters of additional floor will be added at the East Wing area and about 1,750 square meters within the existing hospital will be renovated and upgraded.

BAMC is a non-stock, non-profit corporation, is embarking on an expansion program to meet the growing medical needs of its patients, the press release said.

The time capsule was lowered by Pastor Agapito Catane, Jr., Chairman of Hospital Board assisted by Rufo Gasapo, Health Care Director of the Southern Asia Pacific Division of Seventh-day Adventist.

Present were members of the Board of Trustees, government officials, hospital workers, donors and supporters and project architect, Danilo Yee, the press release added.*
