Relief goods given

Members of the Southern and Northern Negros Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. and the Amity Club turned over relief goods to victims of typhoon Sendong in Negros Oriental, recently.

After meeting with Dumaguete City Mayor Manuel Sagarbarria, the group distributed rice, canned goods, noodles, and bottled water to the victims living in various barangays of Dumaguete and in the towns of Sibulan and Amlan.

The group of the Filipino-Chinese community was led by SNFCCCI and Amity Club president John Yap, and NNFCCCI president emeritus Rey Espina.

They was assisted in the relief operation by Greg Uymatiao, president of the Dumaguete Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry.*NAB
