assorted books

Dumaguete City received assorted books Monday from the Little Village Education Foundation Inc., through the City Library Office, Gima Cornelia, City Librarian, said.

Cornelia said school administrator, Lelani Lasmarias Domalaon, gave about 1,000 textbooks and magazines to pre-school and grade school subject areas for use as reference materials.

She lauded the donation of books as and she encouraged donations from schools and private individuals.

The Dumaguete City Library is open to all from 8 a.m to 5 p.m Mondays through Fridays, with no noon break, and on Saturdays, from 8 a.m to noon, and
1 p.m to 5 p.m. *JFP
