Volleyball referees’
gab set at USLS

The Philippine Volleyball Federation Referees Congress will be held on February 24 to 26 at the USLS Covered Court with University of St. La Salle-Varsity Sports Office as host,  a press release the USLS VSO office said.

The congress, held every two years as required by the FIVB, will coincide with the annual Park Volley Festival, also at the USLS.

Invited to join in the congress are  volleyball referees from Iloilo, Capiz, Antique, Aklan, Guimaras, Negros Oriental and Negros Occidental, the press release said.

Expected to supervise the event are Nestor Bello and Marvin Trinidad, FIVB accredited international referees, who will take charge of the  accreditation and evaluation of the participants.

Also invited to the congress are former PVF president Pete Mendoza and  present  PVF head Gener Dungo.

A registration fee of P2,500 will be charge for every participant to cover for the rule book, case book, identification document and meals.
