Ilahas joins Cebu
Tchoukball tourney

The Bacolod-Negros Tchoukball Team Ilahas led by Jose Montalbo, regional director of the Philippine Tchoukball Federation, left for Cebu the other day to compete in the 2nd Philippines Open Tchoukball Championships scheduled set January 15 and 16 at the Cebu Ayala Gym.

The Bacolod-Negros delegation is composed of three teams that will see action in three categories -- the U18 boys’, men’s Open and the women’s Open.

The tournament in Cebu will also determine the team under the U18 Boy’s category that will represent the country in the Asia Pacific U18 Tchoukball Championships that will be held in Taipei, Taiwan on the third week of May.

Members of the Ilahas men’s team from Bacolod are: Ebranel Andaya, Herbert Aujero, Ranty Componion, John Elray Jamelo, Deosol Pastor, Kert Dave Rivera, Marlon Rivera, Jess Patrick Sioso and coach Raymund Jamelo.

The women’s team is composed of Gladys Aujero, Neslee Joy Besa, Jerielyn Caunga, Maiian DelosReyes, Katrina Ysabel Go, Judy Leonidas, Nesjoy Ordonio, Joanne Sustento, Reina Lyn Joy Tamano, Mae Joy Villaflor, coach Ebranel Andaya, and assistant coach Paul Anthony Aujero.

Competing in the Under18 boys’ group are: Roelle Chapa, James Vergel Jamelo, Judel Roy Lacson, Frank Lobaton, Joseph Matulac, Shem Kelly Palcat, Vincent Pehid, Keano Rosales, Jeffrey Tan, and coach John Elray Jamelo.*NAB
