NOPSSCEA to hold
A general assembly of school administrators, teachers, and non-teaching personnel of Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports Cultural Educational Association schools will be held on Friday at the University of Negros Occidental–Recoletos Gymnasium.
The assembly starts at 1 p.m., a press release from NOPSSCEA said.
Paolo Martin Trinidad, the first Certified Laughter Yoga Professor will be the guest speaker and will discuss how to use the Pinoy Laughter Yoga in the Educational Setting.
Laughter Yoga combines laughter exercises with yoga breathing that brings more oxygen to the brain and body, making people feel energetic and healthy, the press release said.
The recipient of the NOPSSCEA Alumni Excellence Award, the Most Outstanding administrator, Teachers, personnel and students will be recognized in the program, the press release added.*

Korean history shared
A total of 15 students and a staff of the Education Volunteer Service of Daegu University in South Korea visited Busog, Lusog, Talino Schools in Bacolod, Murcia and Talisay City in Negros Occidental recently to share their culture and tradition, a press release from the University of St. La Salle in Bacolod City said.
The group, led by Lee Sheunghee, head of the Academic Affairs of Daegu University, conducted short lecture and workshops on Korean history, art and crafts, foods, music and traditional Korean games to BLT pupils of Murcia Elementary School, Governor Valeriano Elementary School in Murcia, F.R. Flores Elementary School in Brgy. Punta Taytay, Talisay Elementary School and Don Enrique Lizares Elementary School in Talisay City.
The Center for External Relations and the Institute for Negros Development facilitated the trip of the Korean students that ended January 20, the press release added.*
