IN SAN ENRIQUE
Magno returns as mayor
BY CARLA GOMEZ

San Enrique Mayor Mario Magno returned to work yesterday after undergoing a kidney transplant at the National Kidney Transplant Institute in Quezon City on December 2.

Magno said he is thanking the people of San Enrique and all his friends for their prayers that led to his successful kidney transplant.

Magno said he will continue to focus on the health and livelihood needs of the people San Enrique that are among his top priorities.

In a letter to Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr., whom he met yesterday to inform him of his return, Magno said “I had a successful medical operation and have recuperated from the same. As to date the progress of my recovery is remarkable and proven by my follow up check ups and testified by my doctors.

“Now that I am fit and able to perform my sworn duties, I would like to serve my constituents and deliver the kind of services that they deserve. I owe this to my constituents and it is but just that I will return their trust through good public service,” he added.

Magno went on leave on November 15 last year.*CPG
