Bacoleña qualifies for
int’l insurance confab

AXA Philippines said it is proud to recognize the first MDRT Qualifier from Bacolod City, Ma. Teresa Navarra, a press release from the firm said.

MDRT, or the Million Dollar Round Table, is one of the most prestigious international organizations of top life insurance underwriters, the press release said.

A banker for the past 32 years, Ma. Teresa Navarra joined the agency branch of AXA Philippines in Bacolod in April 2011 and in less than a year became a representative to the MDRT Annual Convention at Anaheim, California, USA on June 9-13.

Maricar Rodriguez was another Bacolod agency branch awardee who earned the distinction of being in the executive club, the press release also said.

Other delegates from Bacolod at the recent awards night in Cebu were Jocelyn Zabala, Yolie Qua, Carmela Calatrava, Jojo and Gina Rodriguez, Lime Navarra and John Rodriguez.

AXA originated from France and serves a global clientele of 95 million customers in 61 countries. AXA Philippines leads the industry in terms of first year premiums with P6.64 billion in income, the press release said.

It is the preferred provider of investment-linked or variable life insurance products with more than 30 percent market share.
