Honest driver returns
IPhone found in taxi

Driver Rolando Cando returned  the IPhone left in his taxi to its owner, Doren Zandra Dolorosa, at the Bacolod  New Government Center in the presence of Mayor Evelio Leonardia and DYRL anchorman Rox Estrella Monday.

Dolorosa rented a taxi to  go to the Panaad Park and Staduim in Mansilingan for a fun run competition at 4 p.m. Sunday.  When she got there, she noticed that her IPhone was  missing and remembered that she had  left it in the taxi, a City Hall press release said.

With the help of Bacolod Negros Drivers Club headed by Estrella, the turn-over of the IPhone was facilitated.

Cando is a resident of Brgy. 40 and also a member of Bacolod Negros Drivers Club, while Dolorosa, 23, is from  Lerio Street, Barangay Taculing, and a pharmacy aid at  the Bacolod Adventist Medical Center.*
