Alvarez, Benitez lead
‘Acropolis’ launching

Vice Governor Genaro Alvarez Jr. and Rep. Alfredo Abelardo Benitez(Neg. Occ., 3rd District)yesterday led the inauguration and ribbon cutting of the Acropolis Gardens of Teresa Development Corp. in Bacolod City.

Acropolis Gardens is the new memorialization and cremation facility of TED that offers high-end quality services at an affordable cost.

Benitez, who was the guest of honor, lauded Ramon Lacson, the chief executive officer of TDC, for developing something unique in this industry, adding that it is probably the first of its kind in Negros Occidental and in the country.

“Looking at the place, its environment, and landscape, I come to realize that it is not a bad place to stay,” Benitez said.

He said this is one of the milestones of the corporation and it is just proper to give them rightful recognition for bringing this industry to a different level.

He also hopes that Lacson will bring more innovation and better facilities not only to this industry but to other industries as well and that he can lead the corporation to better heights, Benitez said.

TED president and daughter of Lacson, Geraldine Marie Ramos, said the Greek-inspired facility was envisioned by her father three years ago and now that it is realized, they assure their clients of excellent and personalized service towards the needs of the community.

The garden will have 10 structures, three of which are already fully furnished, the administration building, the Courtyard of Athens, and the multipurpose hall, she said.

The administration building houses the main office, lounge rooms, private chapel, and the crematorium while the Courtyard of Athens has eight viewing and wake areas. A cluster of five individual units will also be constructed with private bedrooms and other amenities, she added.

Ramos also assured their clients of a comfortable, serene, and dignified memorial experience.*LTG
