BY CARLA GOMEZ

The Liberal Party, in all likelihood, will just adopt the candidates fielded by the United Negros Alliance in the towns and cities of Negros Occidental for the 2013 election, Rep. Alfredo Abelardo Benitez (Neg. Occ., 3rd District), said yesterday.

UNA is a coalition of members of various national political parties, including the LP that Benitez heads in Negros Occidental.

Benitez, who along with Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr. and Vice Governor Genaro Alvarez Jr., distributed Negros Occidental Comprehensive Health Program cards in the third district (story on page 12) yesterday, also said there is no rift in UNA, and that they will remain united in 2013. moremoremore
