Celebrations

A new style of cooking was recently demonstrated at Cs, as in Churros, and we were treated to a demonstration by chef Alex on the technique of how not to under- or over- cook, while chef Pancho explained the intricacies and preparation of Churros.

After the demo, we all enjoyed the hot choco with Churros dipped and wow, we couldn’t get enough of it.

JB Mapa then offered to us their mouthwatering ice cream.

Tourism group members Arte Lacson, Bambi Borromeo, Maricar Davao, Virna Ascalon Tan and Betsy Gazo were also present, and we all had a delightful Saturday afternoon.

June birthday celebrators Nora Tinsay, Raquel Militar, Eva Zayco and Sonia Lachica enjoyed celebrating their natal days. The Lucky 13 group, headed by Mila Moya, planned the weekly celebration for them.

Last week, all of us headed to L’Sea Restaurant at Lacson Street for another of such celebration, and to B-Bong Rodriguez, who just arrived from his three-week Caribbean holiday tour with his children.

We loved and enjoyed his pasalubongs, and the guessing game portion of the party.
