Acting NORECO 2 general manager Dionefred Macahig gave the assurance, adding that SUMAI, the company based in mainland China that landed the contract to supply 5,000 concrete poles to the power coop, is expected deliver the remaining 4,774 poles by first week of August this year, or more than 12 months since the first batch of 226 poles were transported on July 9, 2011.

The transaction and contract with SUMAI, through a commodity loan, was sealed in the previous NORECO 2 administration of Engr. Ephraim Taclob, Macahig said.
