No SP session held,
lack of quorum cited

BY GILBERT BAYORAN

The members of the Negros Occidental Sangguniang Panlalawigan did not hold their regular session yesterday due to a lack of quorum.

This was because only seven board members were present, BM Salvador Escalante Jr. said.

Vice Governor Genaro Alvarez Jr., who is the presiding officer, was also absent.

The SP is composed of 15 members, including Alvarez and the three sectoral representatives.*GPB
