Climate change
forum set tomorrow

BY LISA GAPAC

The Social Action Center of the Diocese of Bacolod will hold a forum on climate change 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow at the St. John Marie Vianney Hall at the San Sebastian Cathedral in Bacolod City, SAC director Fr. Ernie Larida, said yesterday.

Larida said they are conducting the forum because SAC believes that public awareness should be the first response to be initiated.

“Significant changes in our weather in the past years tell us that climate change presents a danger not only to our environment but to people’s lives,” Larida said.

He added that its negative impacts will affect not only the environment but also the existence of man.*LTG
