The first microfinance thrift bank in the Visayas, Dungganon Bank, Inc., has become a part of the BancNet consortium, a press release from the company said.

BancNet is the largest electronic banking consortium in the country.

Dungganon Bank president, Joey Ledesma, Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. founders Cecilia del Castillo, Suzzette Gaston and Corazon Henares, met with BancNet president, Robert Blas, and BancNet EVP & COO, Aris Zafra, in Manila to sign the agreement.

Dungganon Bank offers urban and rural clients a variety of micro and commercial loans aside from savings and time deposits.

With the BancNet link, Dungganon Bank clients will soon have access to their loans and savings at any BancNet member ATM across the country and individuals and families from rural
