As the official Sports Drink of the London 2012 Olympic Games, new upgraded Powerade ION4 helps competitors power through the toughest moments on their journey to achieve glory, a press release from the product’s manufacturer said.

The Philippines' finest athletes will be competing in the London 2012 Olympic Games to pursue the first Olympic gold medal for the Philippines.

Powerade ION4 has choosen three of them as brand ambassadors as they continue to challenge themselves as world-class athletes.

These are Mark Barriga for boxing's light flyweight division, Marestella Torres for long jump competition and Brian Rosario for shooting.

These Olympians are going to banner the Philippine flag and eye for nothing short of the top spot, the press release said.

Powerade ION4 will further fuel their Olympic spirit by asking Filipinos to show their support, the press release added.*
