TRIANGULAR BOWLFEST
Up-the-ladder finals
starts at Super Lanes

The championship involving the top five teams in three divisions of the BCNHS/NOHS/DLNHS Triangular Fellowship Bowlfest For Unity 2012 will be held tomorrow at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City at at 3 p.m.

Vying for the title in the premiere class are BCHS ’79 bowlers led by Jingle Selomandin who qualified to be beaten-twice in category A.

With the leading group in the same bracket are schoolmates Batch ’89 led by Nonoy Hulguin; DLNHS ’75 by Rey Gargar and Rowena Juarez; NOHS ’73-74 of Romel Jover and NOHS ‘82/86/89 Combined by Cesar Sumaylo.

BCNHS ’90 pinbusters carried the twice-to-beat advantage after topping the preliminary rounds.

Challenging them are NOHS’85, NOHS ’97, NOHS Golden and BCHS ’74.

The NOHS ‘70/71 partnership owned the twice-to-beat incentives in bracket C.

In the same bracket are DLNHS ’78, NOHS ’95, BCHS ’67, and NOHS ’80.

In the opening match, NOHS ’80 vie with BCHS ’67 in bracket C; NOHS Golden with BCHS ’74 in category B, and NOHS ‘73/74 with NOHS ‘82/86/89 Combinations in the premiere division.

The winners will go against NOHS ’95, NOHS ’97, and DLNHS ’75.

Distribution of prizes to the winners in each bracket will follow when the champions have been declared

Meanwhile, DLNHS ’75 Rey “D’Heat” Gargar and Ronella Cordero of NOHS Batch ’89 won the master bowler title in the men and women’s category beating their opponents in the finals.

The tournament’s individual record holder to receive their respective awards are Cesar Sumaylo (NOHS ’82) in highest pinning with 95 and Norman Pineda (BCHS ’74) in the men’s single and triple with 161 and 386;

Maila Balayo of BCNHS ’89 in the women’s pinning with 92. She also has the record in single and triple with 133 and 348, respectively.

Awardees in the team competition are DLNHS ’75 in triple with 1586, and BCNHS ’89 in single with 581.*HLG
