RJ Stars/DLNHS dominated the 5th Association of International Ministers Singles Bowling Tournament at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City, recently.

Melchor Semillano of the RJ Stars Team scored 234 pinfalls to capture the championship in the two-game spectacle.

His teammate Nonoy Hulguin of BCNHS had 218 to place second, while NPBC RJ/NOHS starter Hernand Garciniego had 217 for third.

Sixteen non-rated bowlers participated in the tournament.

In a side event, Joe Banquiran, of DLNHS/RJ was the winner.

Meanwhile, the two-day Negros Press Club organized bowling tournament sponsored by Coca-Cola Bottlers Phils. Inc. will unfold at the Super Lanes at 1 p.m. on June 30.

It will be participated in by newspaper publications, radio and television personalities in Negros Occidental.

Fifteen bowling squads, including the sponsoring group are expected to vie in the team and individual competitions.*
