drug pusher

BY JUDY F. PARTLOW

Another suspected drug pusher was arrested in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, Thursday afternoon.

Suspected drug pusher Antonio Sanon Jr., 28, single, and a resident of Brgy. Tinago, was arrested after he allegedly sold a plastic sachet containing suspected shabu to an undercover agent posing as a buyer, a police report said.

Operatives of the Philippine National Police’s Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force, the Dumaguete police and the National Bureau of Investigation in Dumaguete arrested Sanon and confiscated from him the sachet of “shabu”, a P500 marked bill used during the buy-bust operation, and another transparent plastic sachet with suspected shabu weighing half a gram, the report added.

Sanon is reportedly in the PNP’s watch list of suspected drug pushers and had been the subject of surveillance for days before his arrest.

Charges are being readied against Sanon who is now under police custody.*JFP
