The Association of Negros Producers will launch its new program, OUR Food, with the association’s new members, the farmers group from all over Negros tomorrow, an ANP press release said.

OUR Food stands for Optimizing and Upscaling Roles in the Food Supply Chain and is envisioned to support the agriculture industry towards sustainability and development while it encourages the lifestyle of healthy eating and living, the press release said.

Farmer groups with ANP and NISARD Board of Trustees and representatives from German organization, AFOS Foundation, will pay a courtesy call on Gov. Alfredo Marañon, Jr.

The OUR Food Roadmap to be presented in the forum supports the provincial government’s thrust on food security through natural and organic farming, the press release said. On Wednesday, selected farmers will sell their fresh produce of top quality vegetables and fruits.

There are seven farmer groups joining, from Patag, Silay, San Carlos City, Don Salvador Benedicto, Moises Padilla, Brgy Concepcion in Talisay City, La Carlota City, and from Buro-Buro Farm and the Peñalosa Farm and products of Alter Trade and Herbanext.

The launch of OUR Food is the kick-off project towards ANP’s celebration of its 24th year.

Members of the public can buy from the OURFood Market Day on Wednesday at the parking lot of the Negros Showroom at 9th St – Lacson, to open at 8 am until 6 pm., the press release said
