Open trio bowling tilt
eliminations end today

The race of the top five squads will end tonight in the Friendship Cup Open Trio Bowling Tournament at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

The teams that advance to the next round will vie for the title in an up-the-ladder system.

In the final eliminations, Kami Mga Hubin of Robbie Elegado hopes to keep top spot in Class A with 7,548 points, as Silverado ASSFBI of Cecil Ramon Silverio stays two points behind with 7,546 pinfalls.

The two will dispute the No. 1 ranking and the twice-to-beat advantage for the championship.

Battling for the last three slots are Sharp Team handled by Irne Diaz with 7,469; Davies “A”, 7,418; TNT/Cezar Machine Shop, 7,237; NPBC RJ Stars, 7,230; Mulo Car Aircon II, 7,227, and Davies “P”, 7,194.

ESD Electronz, 7,117, and Mulo Car Aircon, 7,000 are hoping to reach the final round.

Candles/Alimon Steel of Melot Alimon leads the non-rated bracket with 7,356 followed by FRM Marketing/Sharp of Fil Magbojos with 7,308.

Also in the same division are ESD Electronz I, 7,246; Metro Sales, 7,238; St. Joseph Alumni Assoc., 7,230; Davies “C”, 7,188; Amor, 7,045; TNT/C-Zar MS, 7,032; Sanyo, 7,022; RJPL, 7,002; Manila Bulletin/Phil. Daily Inquirer, 6,938, and Eco-saver, 6,576.

In the ladies department, Condura ASSFBI Ladies piloted by Juliet Regollo has 7,003, while Tiger Eye I of Cecil Biendo is 187 has 6,816. *HLG
