Bago CoP relieved
BY ADRIAN NEMES III

Supt. Simeon Gane was relieved by the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office as police chief of Bago City, and his deputy, Insp. Jerry Nacion, designated officer-in-charge, effective immediately.

That was confirmed yesterday by Bago Mayor Ramon Torres, who said he received a copy of the relief order for Gane Wednesday.

Torres said several concerned citizens have raised complaints against the series of unsolved robberies in Bago in the past few days, and that may be one of the reasons for the removal of Gane.moremoremore
