Jules: No plan to run for guv
BY CARLA GOMEZ

MAKATI CITY - Rep. Julio Ledesma IV (Neg. Occ., 1st District) yesterday denied rumors that he plans to run for governor in 2013 against incumbent Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr.

Ledesma said he will finish his third term as congressman of the first district of Negros Occidental, if given the mandate once more.

“No other office or post sought nor desired," he said.

Like Marañon, Ledesma is a member of the United Negros Alliance and the Nationalist People's Coalition.

Marañon said UNA, an alliance of Negros Occidental officials belonging to different national political parties, aims to hold a meeting of all its member in two weeks time.

The UNA lineup for 2013 will be announced at the meeting, he said, adding that UNA founder ambassador Eduardo Cojuangco has been invited to the affair.*CPG
