SBP referees clinic
set June 29 to July 12

At least a hundred basketball referees and officiating officials are expected to attend the three-day clinic organized by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas on June 29, 30 and July 1 at West Negros University gym in Bacolod City.

The seminar aims to further develop the level of competitiveness among basketball referees and to improve competency among those who are already in the trade, a statement from the SBP said.

The activities, according to Felipe Bat-og, will start with the registration of participants at 8 a.m., followed by the introduction of the program and lecture. Lecture continues from 1 to 5 p.m. and from 8 to 12 noon the next day.

Practical methods will be taken up on the afternoon of June 30 and the morning of July 1.

Agustin said they will have a meeting tomorrow to finalize the details of the clinic.

He also advised interested parties to coordinate with Bat-og or get in touch with the West Negros University Sports Office for additional details on the clinic.*NAB
