Mambukal gets P33M villas, pool
BY CARLA GOMEZ

Seven villas and a dipping pool worth P33.3 million will be inaugurated at the Mambukal Resort in Murcia, Saturday, while two hotel chains have also expressed interest in building a hotel there, Negros Occidental Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr. said yesterday.

To be inaugurated at the resort owned by the provincial government are seven villas with four rooms each worth P27.3 million, and a P6 million dipping pool designed by a Japanese consultant.

The governor said the provincial government is also eyeing a joint venture with a hotel chain for the construction of a hotel at the site of the old lodge at the resort, he said.

The provincial government is still looking for investors, and two hotel chains, so far, have expressed interest in the project, he said.*CPG
