A teenager sought the help of the National Bureau of Investigation in Bacolod City yesterday claiming that her stepfather, a policeman, has made her a sex slave for almost 12 years now in their residence in a town in Negros Occidental.

The victim, 17, whose name is being withheld by the DAILY STAR, was accompanied by her biological father in reporting her ordeal.

She claimed that her stepfather, who is assigned in one of the towns in Negros Occidental started molesting her when she was just 6 years old. There was even a time when her stepfather raped her in his workplace, she said.

The teenager added that she had told her mother about her plight but her mother would get mad, so she had to ask help from her father, whom she had not seen since she was a child.

Her biological father, 46, said he and his former wife separated when their daughter was only one year old and have not seen each other since then.

He said he thought his daughter would be safe under care of her stepfather who is supposed to be a law enforcer, adding that he is determined to file the charges against the suspect.

The victim has already undergone a medical examination to prove her claims.*APN
