Sharp Team led with 718 pinfalls in the premiere division, and Metro Sales and Davies Fusion I did the same at the opening of the Suppliers Friendship Cup Open Trio Bowling Championship at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

The members of the leading group in Class A category are Edgar De Leon, Matt Gaudite, Rey “Spitfire” Bala-an and Nonoy Hulguin.

Metro Sales headed by Rey Oreta tops the non-rated department with 671 balls, while Davies Fusion II of Vilma Robles ruled the women’s bracket with 953.

Lined up with Sharp are Davies “E” of Edgar Jerez with 685; ESD Electronz II of Pat Mendoza, 668; Nonoy Ruiz’ TNT Construction I, 662; Silverado ASSFBI, 661; Kami Mga Hubin, 658; Amor ASSFBI, 656; Mulo Car Aircon Services, 612; NPBC TNT/RJ Srars/Tough Trucks, 597, and NPBC TNT 3, 569.

The other competing squads in the non-rated side are Supplier’s BCO, 648; KMH, 636; St. Joseph High School Alumni Association I, 635; St. Joseph II, 634; ESD Electronz I, 629; FRM Marketing, 622; Davies “C”, 620; Candles/Alimon Steel, 615, and Sanyo, 605.

Retro, led by Leah Uy, toppled 930 balls to place second in the women;s category followed by Condura ASSFBI Ladies with 928.

Tiger Eye I has 915; Panasonic/ON-BACIBA, 889; Racahe, 865; Tiger Eye II, 856; Davies Fusion I, 854, and Kami Mga Gwapa, 770.

Action will resume tonight at 6 p.m today.

Meanwhile, Batch ’85 of the Bacolod City National High School will host the Pre-Panaad Open Trio Bowling Championship on April 21.

It will be a one-day event where the top four squads will vie for the top purse in an up-the-ladder system to determine the champion.
