Three job fairs organized by System Technology Institute-Bacolod, University of St. La Salle-Bacolod, and the Bacolod Public Employment Service Office are slated tomorrow up to next week.
STI placement officer Berlino Trabajar, Jr. said the Enrolment to Employment-System of STI-Bacolod and the Department of Labor and Employment are bringing 20 companies in Bacolod for its National Job Fair Day tomorrow at the Robinsons Place, Fountain Area.
The companies joining the job fair are from the business process outsourcing industries, business and commerce, construction firms, and hospitality and tourism, he said.
The job fair will cater to graduating students taking bachelor’s degree on information technology, computer sciences, and two-year courses in IT program, computer and electronics technology program, health care services, hospitality and restaurant services, Trabajar added.
The activity is open to the public.
Trabajar said the students will have a seminar on Employment: Local and Abroad and Job Interview and Power Dressing prior to the job fair.
PESO Bacolod, meanwhile, will also host the employers’ interview with the representatives of Lead Resources Management Corp. on March 14 at the Masskara Hall of the Government Center.
The employer needs service crews, receptionists, bussers, kitchen supervisors and managers, cashiers, cooks, restaurant managers, and delivery crews for Americana Food Company in United Arab Emirates.
The Job Placement Office and the Guidance and Evaluation Center of USLS on the other hand will have its job fair on March 16 at the USLS-Coliseum.
Around 50 companies from different industries will accept applications from Lasallian graduates and those from other schools.
Applicants and job seekers must bring their resumés, 2x2 pictures, and other documents supporting their application.
Meanwhile, USLS will also have a Career Fair on March 12 sponsored by the Rotary Bacolod North.*LTG
