The National Conciliation and Mediation Board- Regional Branch 6 is celebrating the 2012 Labor-Management Cooperation Month and Women’s Month.

Groups from unionized and non-unionized companies called the Association of Labor-Management Councils of Negros Occidental, Inc. and Association of Industrial Peace Advocates of Negros Occidental, respectively, will gather for a joint activity today at the Riverside College in Bacolod City, a press release from NCMB-RB said.

Included today’s joint activity are a session on “Empowering the Women in the Workplace” of which topics on Republic Act 9262 or an Act Defining Violence Against Women and Children) and R.A. 7877 Anti -Sexual Harassment Act of 1995 will be discussed with P/Supt. Ma. Cecilia Detablan, Chief of Regional Women and Children Protection Desk, as the speaker, the press release said.*
