DOTC promises P2M for
Neg.Or. indigents

BY JUANCHO GALLARDE

Negros Oriental Gov. Roel Degamo said Secretary Mar Roxas of the Department of Transportation and Communications has promised to extend P2 million for indigents at the provincial hospital.

He said Roxas contacted him earlier this week to tell him that the funds are coming and should be spent according to specifications.

A P5 million special allotment release order had been issued by the Department of Budget and Management earlier for the concreting of the road leading to Lake Balanan in Siaton, one of the top tourist destinations in Negros Oriental.*JG
