A birthday full of music

BUDDAI

The Sanctuario de La Salle was fully decorated, with tables and chairs so arranged that the audience could easily watch the program prepared by the celebrator, Msgr. GG Gaston on Wednesday.

The invocation “Amay Namon” was sung by the West Negros University Glee Club and the Cathedral Choir with Msgr. G.G. Gaston, before dinner.

The WNU Glee Club and the Cathedral Choir, which the good Monsignor founded, also rendered “I Believe” and “Ave Maria”, followed by “Amigos Para Siempre”, that the celebrator sang which the crowd appreciated, followed by the “Cuerdas Medley” with the West Negros U. rondalla ensemble and the Negros String Group.

“O Sole Mio” and “Eres Tu”, the favorites of Msgr. G.G., were also performed with MariJo Tampinco at the piano, accompanied by the Negros String Group, that the audience loved and cheered. It was a fascinating and delightful evening for all of us.

I asked Msgr. G.G. why the “bonggacious” celebration and he said it was to thank the Almighty God for the bonus He has extended him: A happy and fruitful life.

To dear Msgr. Gaston, God bless you and keep the light burning in your concerts or birthday celebration.

Remember: As the years add up, God’s faithfulness multiplies. In heaven, there is no pain, no night, no death and no tears.*
