Experienced nurses
needed in S. Arabia

The Public Employment Service Office in Bacolod City will host the initial interview for nurses for Saudi Arabia with representatives of Career Planners Thursday and Friday at the old City Hall Building, at Araneta Street, Moises de la Cruz, PESO manager, said yesterday.

De la Cruz said the agency needs registered nurses especially those with work experiences to be deployed in Saudi Arabia.

Though there are limited vacancies for nurses abroad, nurses who have work experiences still have more chances of getting the available positions, he said, adding that applicants they should only apply to agencies that are registered and licensed with the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration.

Meanwhile, the Hitachi Company in Laguna needs production operators. This is open to all high school graduates who are willing to work in Luzon, he said. The initial interview is set on Thursday at PESO, he added.

Applicants have to bring their resume, transcript of records, diploma, training and employment certificates, and other documents.

De la Cruz also encouraged all applicants to wear formal or decent attire. Slippers and shorts are not allowed.

He also asked those who did not fill out the skills registry form to sign up so they will be able to input all applicants’ information and skills for easier access to companies who need workers. *LTG
