Three maritime companies are joining the Maritime Career Showcase of John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation 7:30 a.m. March 19 at its covered court in Brgy. Alijis, Bacolod City, Cheryl Pagunsan, chairman of the Career Maritme Showcase, said yesterday.

The companies are Jo Tankers Philippines, ODFJELL Philippines and the Norwegian Ship Owners Association, and more companies are expected to join it.

The activity will focus on graduating high school students and highlight maritime career opportunities and privileges from shipping companies in the country and abroad, she said.

The JBLCF achievers like Jan Asley Valenzuela, Bryan Segovia, Charles Mangga, Micho Santillan, Raphy Trinidad, Catherine Yasay. and Thea Mae Guerra will also speak on the activity that is part of the JBLCF’s celebration on its fourth year of excellence in maritime education, she added.
