Twenty-one foreign students are in Dumaguete to paint murals on the walls of public elementary and high schools in the city.
The activity is part of the outreach program of the International Community School in Singapore, in coordination with the Pastoral Training Center of Asia.
Stephen Moore, delegation head, said they have painted the walls of the North City Elementary School, the basketball court of the Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital, and the Negros Oriental High School, with images of the animals that were placed inside Noah’s Ark.
The message is that God loves us and we have to be thankful about it, he added.
The students are from Korea, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, America and Japan. They will leave the country Friday and go back to Singapore.*JG
