The Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees has declared of P8.491 billion worth of dividends for 2011, a press release from the agency said.
Vice President Jejomar Binay, who is concurrently Chairman of the Pag-IBIG Board, said that , the amount of dividends is equivalent to 71 percent of the Pag-IBIG’s net income for 2011.
This will be divided among the fund’s 10.2 million members the press release said.
Agriculturists to help ‘students’ in
‘Eskwelahan sa Kahanginan’
Twenty agriculturists have been assigned as field coordinators for the Eskwelahan sa Kahanginan on Organic Agriculture who will monitor and take charge of the student-listeners in Negros Occidental, Edna Garde, manager of the Farmers’ Information and Technology Services Center, who is hosting the radio program, said.
The field coordinators will conduct the information campaign on ESK on Organic Agriculture, maintain their directories on their list of enrollees, and collect, check, and record module tests of the student-listeners, she said.
They will come from the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, the academe, and from non-government organizations, she also said.
