Service awards
ala Oscars

It was a smashing celebration for Teleperformance Bacolod’s Service Award ceremony recently at the grand ballroom of Sugarland Hotel.

Capturing the Oscars Awards ambiance, the glamorous guests, attired in long evening gowns and formal suits, felt like Hollywood celebrities as they walked down the red carpet to get to their tables. The company truly knows a thing or two about mounting a bash honoring the 80 awardees, three of them from Teleperformance-Cebu, who served the company faithfully for five years, and were awarded with a plaque of recognition, and an engraved Teleperformance “5 years” watch.

Hosting the affair was its US Culture and Communications trainer Anthony Visitacion, who used his production expertise and experience in presenting a highly-entertaining show.

VIP guests were Teleperformance Philippines managing director Brian Johnson, vice president for Human Capital Resource Management Jeffrey Johnson, and director for Client Services Tanya Famador.

In his speech, Brian Johnson talked about how the company in Bacolod started small in 2006 and steadily grew to be one of the biggest in the industry today. He acknowledged that Teleperformance Bacolod has proven that it has what it takes to compete in the global manpower market.

Paul Felton, recruitment manager, gave a heartwarming speech about how he left the USA to come to Bacolod and soon fell in love with the City of Smiles. He liked the lifestyle here so much that he decided to settle down here with his lovely Bacoleña wife. The romantic audience greeted his speech with cheers and thunderous applause.

Kudos to the service awardees, and to Teleperformance for a memorable evening.*
