MANILA – Trading at the Philippine Stock Exchange posted gains across the board yesterday.

The main index reached 5,087.01 points, up by 57.38 points or by 1.1408 percent during mid-trade.

Also, the broader all shares index was up by 32.14 points or 0.9448 percent to 3,433.85 points.

All the sectoral indices are also on the positive registering an improvement over past day’s profit-taking.

Gainers edged losers at 102 to 63 while 38 are unchanged.

Value turn-over reached P4.04 billion after 1.16 billion shares changed hands.

Traders said the local bourse’s positive performance mid-trade is just part of the correction after investors stayed on the sidelines for the past days.*PNA
