DAR joins
Women's Month

The Negros Oriental Agrarian Reform Office joins the celebration of Women’s Month on this year’s theme “Women Weathering Climate Change: Governance and Accountability, Everyone’s Responsibility,” a government press release said.

The celebration was opened with a fun walk participated in by DAR Provincial Office personnel.

A symposium on Violence Against Women and their Children was also held at the PHCCI Hostel, with guest speakers Claire Bangaysiso, political officer of Vice President Jejomar Binay, and Phoebe Tan of the Silliman University Women’s Center.

The closing program will be on April 3-4, with a seminar-workshop on disaster preparedness and risk reduction management, the press release added.*
