Golez gives 12 students
in city awards

Twelve elementary and high school students received awards from Bacolod Rep. Anthony Golez, Jr. and Bacolod City Schools Division Superintendent Gemma Ledesma during the Bacolod’s Most Outstanding Student and Teacher awarding rites yesterday in Bacolod City.

The MOST award is a project of the Office of Golez and the Ang Batang Pinoy Movement Team headed by Jewel Mae Lobaton-Pimentel..

The awardees for elementary education were Kristine Mariel Jacob of Andres Bonifacio Elementary School 1 – District 1; Paulynne Jhee Bedico of Montevista Elementary School – District II; Christine May Camaymayan of Apolonario Mabini Elementary School; Jhenny Alvarez of Handumanan Elementary School; John Philip Rollo of C.V. Ramos Elem. School; Elizabeth Portillo of Education and Training Center School I, and Lynrose Tordesillas of Sum-ag Elementary School – District VII.

The awardees for secondary education are Resa Lobaton of Domingo Lacson National High School- Unit I, Vergel Ano of AlangilanNational High School- Unit II, Naphtalie Betia of Angela Gonzaga National High School-Unit ll, Jenerie Martinico of Handumanan National High School- Unit ll, and Eda Marie Molase of Bacolod City National High School-Unit lll.

The awardees received the Bacolod’s MOST medal, P2,000 worth of gift certificate and cash gift of P2,000; leadership training, educational support for one year; JAMSTEP shirt limited edition and a piece of cake.

Lyn Tordesillas for elementary education and Eda Molase for secondary education. received the Cong. Anthony “Doc Tony” Golez Academic and Leadership Excellence Awardees.

Each received a medal, cash prize of P25,000, laptop computer, leadership training and community emersion.

Golez urged the student awardees to make good in their studies and never waste their time on useless matters, as well as, to help their family, community and city.
