Three expos slated

The largest and most attended expositions in the country are back again in Cebu, a press release from organizers said.

World-class trade shows PHILBEX, Cebu Auto Show and CEFBEX will be at the Cebu International Convention Center from May 24 to 27, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Worldbex Services International gathers the best suppliers and exhibitors in building and construction, motoring, and food and beverage with the theme- “Construct, Calibrate, Crave”.

The expos welcome everyone as entrance fees and seminars are free of charge. Visitors can get a chance to win amazing prizes from East West Bank with IPAD 2 units, Toshiba 32” LCD TVs and Pioneer DVD Players to be raffled away during the event, the press release said.

It also said that considered as Cebu’s largest and most attended construction exposition, PHILBEX or the Philippine Building and Construction Exposition has been active in providing an extensive exhibit of innovations and technologies available to the building and construction markets of Visayas and Mindanao.

Every year, PHILBEX attracts thousands of property developers, interior designers, architects, engineers, contractors, trade professionals, distributors, importers, exporters, and many more from both private and government sectors, all eager to do business.

With hundreds of exhibitors, PHILBEX features a wide range of products for every need of the construction industry. Its diverse portfolio contributes to sale optimization and maximum business to business opportunities, the press release said.

With the theme “Construct, Calibrate, Crave”, this year’s event highlights include free seminars and two major gallery exhibits featuring some of the country’s best architects and their designs.

A furniture gallery would also be on display in cooperation with the Cebu Furniture Industries Foundation, Inc., the press release said.

As the Cebu counterpart of MIAS, on the other hand, car enthusiasts are expected to flock to the show, which boasts of international car brands displaying their best and latest designs.

New technologies and emerging trends in the automotive industry, as well as exclusive car releases, would also be on display during the show.

Adding excitement to the 6th Cebu Auto Show are the classic and customized car competitions and a sound competition, where the best of the best in the area would show-off the impressive setups of their vehicles.

The car event shines the spotlight on motoring fleets and breakthroughs with the theme ‘Motorsports: Life in the Fast Lane’, the press release said.

Meanwhile, the only food and beverage show of its kind, the Cebu Foods and Beverage Exposition or CEFBEX addresses the ever-increasing demands of the food service and hospitality industries in the region.

Suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, retailers, importers, exporters and consultants come together to promote a diverse range of food products, beverages and related technologies from around the world, all under one roof.
