Sharp takes early lead in
Supplier’s bowlfest 

Sharp took an early lead in the premiere division, while Alimon Steel/Candles and Tiger Eye I topped the non-rated and women’s department of the Suppliers Friendship Cup Open Trio Bowling Tournament at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

The opening day leader headed by Irne “Pretty Boy” Diaz had a two-game output of 738 pinfalls to lead the 10-teams.

Cecil Silverio’s Silverado ASSFBI and Kami Mga Hubin of Robbie Elegado were second and third with 721 and 703 apiece.

NPBC RJ Stars/LJP of Steve Po was fourthl with 702.

Other competitors in the same division are Davies “A” with 650; ESD Electronz II, 648; Davies “P”, 646; TNT/Cesar Machine Shop, 642; Mulo Car Aircon Services II, 631, and Mulo Car Aircon, 596.

Candles of Melot Alimon lead the pack in the non-rated category with 718, tailed by Metro Sales of Rey Oreta with 676.

In the women’s bracket, Tiger Eye I led with 690 balls.

Condura ASSFBI Ladies and Davies Fusion was second and third with 685 and 645 balls each.

Other scores: SJS-LS/D’Adventurers, 633; Panasonic/ON-BACIBA, 591; Kami Mga Gwapa, 586; Retro, 564; Baciba-Racahe, 564, and Tiger Eye II, 539.

Meanwhile, the AIM Fitness Gym will hold its 3rd Singles Competition tonight at 6 p.m. at the Super Bowling Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

The event is open to non-rated bowlers and is a two-game contest where the top three players win the prize.*HLG
