Brownouts scheduled

The Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. will conduct line maintenance activities that will result in brownouts from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and tomorrow, a CENECO press release said.

CENECO personnel will replace rotten primary poles at corner Narra – C. L. Montelibano Street, Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City, today.

They will also replacement rotten primary poles at Paglaum Street, Capitol Heights, Barangay Villamonte tomorrow, the press release said.

Also tomorrow, CENECO personnel will string armor a 1-span primary line and tap line extension serving Baronesa Metal to Alijis Feeder 5, it added.

Member-consumers are advised to turn off their electrical switch/es during the power interruption for safety reasons.

When electricity supply resumes, they must wait about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge, the press release said.
