Under the business tax category, the three named outstanding for 2011 were Pawnsafe Services Corp., operator of Palawan Pawshop; GARODA Plantations Inc., a fishponds and sugar farms operator; and Mary Grace Barretto, proprietres of Maria Gracia Pawnshop.

Honored under the real property tax category were Arthur Ledesma and Company, owner of Hacienda Sta. The selection of the six outstanding tax payers was based on records from both the Permits and Licensing Division of the Office of the Municipal Treasurer and Office of the Municipal Assessor, the press release said.

Mayor David Albert Lacson congratulated the winners and thanked them for their support to the town by paying their taxes promptly.
