The Department of Labor and Employment, in collaboration with its partners, will hold a food festival and concert on May 26, along Delgado -  Valeria Sts., Iloilo City, dubbed Fiesta Sa Mayo para sa mga Obreros which aims to foster camaraderie and strengthen fellowship between and among the government, management and labor sectors.

DOLE Region 6 Director Ponciano Ligutom said the food festival will cap the month-long activities of the 2012 labor month celebration.

Fifteen members of Iloilo Hotels, Restaurants and Resorts Association, Inc. will join the food fest.

 The highlight of the event is the awarding of certificates called Gab-i sang Pasidungog kag Talento  to DOLE partner-agencies and organizations in recognition of their support in making the labor month successful, the press release said.*
