two-day screening days

The Bacolod Public Employment Service Office hopes to hire 100 applicants in the two-day employers’ interviews by representatives of two recruitment agencies on May 30 and 31 in Bacolod City, Moises de la Cruz, PESO manager, said yesterday.

Jones International Manpower Services Inc. needs service crews for Saudi Arabia and will hold its interview at the Planta Hotel on May 30, while Victoria Services Inc. needs domestic helpers for Hongkong, de la Cruz said.

Interview for domestic helpers will be on May 30 and 31 at the Masskara Hall of the Government Center, he also said.

De la Cruz is also encouraging applicants to submit their applications during the employers’ interview because company representatives will be present during the screening, and they want job seekers to get hired on the spot.

He said there will be no collection of fees during the interview.

Applicants must bring their resumé, employment and training certificates, transcript of records, diploma, passport, and other documents. They must come in decent attire, and wearing of shorts and slippers are not allowed, de la Cruz added.*LTG
