Serondo - Prov’l coop
abolition recommended

BY CARLA GOMEZ

The abolition of the provincial cooperative office has been recommended, Negros Occidental Board Member Miller Serondo, chairman of the Capitol’s reorganization committee, said yesterday.

The recommendation was made by the department head as millions of pesos have already been put into the cooperative that has not made any gains, he said.

The outsourcing of utility services at the Capitol has also been recommended, he added.

He said the possible merging of the public affairs and public information divisions of the Capitol will be discussed in the next meeting of the reorganization committee.*CPG
