4 injured in mishap
BY GILBERT BAYORAN

Four passengers suffered minor injuries, when the Ceres Liner bus they were riding fell into a drainage canal Saturday night at Sitio Talos in Brgy. Igmaya-an, Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental.

Investigations by the Don Salvador Benedicto police showed that the bus, that came from Cebu and was bound for Bacolod, was negotiating a steep curve going downhill, when the accident took place at about 9 p.m. Saturday.

Of the 36 passengers, aside from some children, four identified as Dave Alagon, Analyn Labad, Beregenio Perales and Lucita Carrias, suffered minor injuries, Senior Inspector Gideon Montano, Don Salvador Benedicto police officer-in-charge said.

The other passengers were unhurt but apparently shaken by the incident, Montano added.* GPB
